Baylor is Boring

But I can assure you... I''m far from "boring."

Hey, Hi, Hello. My first name is Baylor; my last name however, is a synonym for uninteresting, dull, monotonous, repetitive... you get the point. Boring. I’ve never known a love like the one I have for color, and the sound of music feeds my soul better than any banana split ever could. I've been obsessed with art since, well, forever. All art, any kind of art, even if it isn't meant to be art. Even the “boring” art.

 

But since you've made it to this page, I can assume you've seen that I find the unnecessary to be completely necessary. By that I mean the molding between your wall and ceiling, that has extremely detailed lines and took months of planning and sketching, or maybe it's all of those stickers covering an old phone booth contributed by passing strangers outside a gas station. My point is those things, the things we could get by without, maybe wouldn't even notice if they were gone, are the things that spark creativity, joy, ground breaking ideas, and well of course art.

 

 

So that brings us to me and what I do. You could say I’m a photographer. You could also say I’m a graphic designer, a cinematographer, a set designer… the list goes on. But, I’d say I’m a creative, an artist. An artist inspired by all the little things that make the big things BIG.
